Enrolment at Melton Primary School
Every child has the right to attend their local Government School. To locate your local Government School please visit the Find My School website https://www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au/
All schools have local neighbourhood boundaries as defined on the Find My School website. Schools may have the capacity to take students outside their enrolment boundary, so it is best to contact the school to see if they have this capacity.

Expression of Interest Form
Collect and Complete an Expression of Interest Form, available from our school or by clicking below.
Proof of Age
Locate your child’s birth certificate or passport to prove they turn 5 years of age on or before the 30th of April of the year they commence Foundation.
If your child was born overseas, please bring the passport or visa that gave them permission to reside in Australia.
Locate your child’s Immunisation History Statement that includes the statement ‘This child received all vaccines required by 5 years of age’.
Statements can be obtained from any Medicare Office or by logging onto theAustralian Childhood Immunisation Register at the Medicare website.
Bring Your Documents In
Once you have been contacted about a place at Melton PS, please bring all documents as outlined above to the school to enroll your child.
Optional 30-40 minute walk and talk tours are conducted for families during certain times of the school year. Bookings are essential.
